On June 22-24, as every year, a conference from the "Paris Redox Meeting" series was held in Paris. It was entitled Oxidative Stress Reduction, Redox Homeostasis & Antioxidants. The plenary lecture was delivered by one of the pioneers of redox biology, prof. Helmut Sies from the University of Dusseldorf. Our Faculty was represented by Dr. Anna Grochot-Przęczek (Department of Medical Biotechnology), who received the award for the best conference lecture entitled "Novel atypical functions of Nrf2 and Keap1 in endothelial cells".
